May 2025 Celebrating Mothers Day

Members enjoyed a very successful May luncheon to celebrate Mothers Day at Bega Meals on Wheels in May.  Program Officer, Barbara, asked Members to bring a photo of their Mum, taken at any age, and we all had to try and match the Mums with the daughters.  After lots of fun and laughter the successful winner was birthday girl Norma.

Accompanying photo of Norma who was celebrating her 80th birthday, receiving flowers from President Veronica.

Mothers Day Winners

The beautiful patchwork rug and bag, donated by Miriam from Merimbula VIEW, for which we had been selling tickets for a couple of months, was also drawn.

The lucky winners were Beryl who received the rug and Veronica who received the bag, both are shown in the photos, with presenter Sue.

Also shown in the photo, are Members who read some beautiful, and some hilarious, poems for our Mothers Day Celebrations.

It was an enjoyable day for all who attended.
