Bellinger Valley VIEW Club
About
Bellinger Valley VIEW Club was formed in 1985.
We are an enthusiastic and friendly group of women who provide support and friendship for each other while promoting the work of The Smith Family. Our club raises funds to proudly sponsor five disadvantaged students on the Smith Family's Learning for Life program. We take pride in hearing about their educational journeys and achievements. A number of members tutor school children with reading at the local primary school. This is greatly appreciated by the school community.

We meet monthly for a luncheon and an enjoyable program which includes a guest speaker or activities around a theme such as our birthday in June or "Christmas in July" celebrations. In addition to our meetings we also enjoy social outings, such as bus trips, morning teas, croquet, soup and slice days, Kegel bowling.

Party Like It's 1922
Members looking splendid in Flappers Dress
In June 2022
Members recently celebrated our 37th Birthday in June with the theme 1920's Flappers Era which was a celebration of 100 years of The Smith Family.
Visitors from other clubs in our NM Area also joined us in celebrating the occasion, Bonville-Boambee, Nambucca Macksville, Nambucca River and Urunga VIEW Clubs. Also, our NM Area Advisor, Cynthia Guyenette, attended which added to our celebration.
Members enjoyed dressing up for the occasion, getting into the spirit of the 1920's with feather boas, furs and long pearl necklaces.
Bellingen High School String Quartet entertained us with some beautiful classical music and we enjoyed eating our celebration cake.
Thank you to the Old Butter Factory for accommodating us in their new Function Room and providing a lovely lunch for us.

ND Gala Day 2022
A successful Gala Day was recently held at Woolooware Golf Club. There were seventy-six (76) guests representing Eleven clubs from Area ND, Area NC, Area NB and Area NE. Our guest speaker was Suanne Sneddon - Illawarra/Shoalhaven Team Leader.
