We have outings the 3rd Thursday of each month, enjoy our friendship days as well as visiting various locations in the Hunter Valley region.
We are very proud of our six Learning For Life students and support the winter and Christmas Appeal.

CESSNOCK VIEW CLUB – WALK WITH VIEW
On August 1, 2017 Cessnock VIEW Club members dressed in their purple VIEW t-shirts and/or aprons and lots of balloons, hit the streets of the Cessnock CBD to raise awareness of the club’s activities. The Walk for VIEW started at Cessnock Leagues Club, made its way up to Vincent Street and back to the Leagues Club for lunch. The ladies were joined by seven members of Tilligerry VIEW Club and Cessnock Mayor Bob Pynsent for the walk.

A photo opportunity was also taken outside the Federal Member for the Hunter, Joel Fitzgibbon’s, office. Members believe that not a lot of people in the wider community know what VIEW Clubs do or their involvement with The Smith Family and the Learning for Life program, hence the reason for the awareness walk which was a great success. A number of VIEW brochures were handed out along the way with the hopes of gaining a few new members.

WA State Conference
The idea of holding a Development Conference is to spread the word about VIEW and The Smith Family to a wider audience in WA, as well as give local women and those new to VIEW the opportunity to attend a “Convention-like” event.
