Coolangatta/Tweed VIEW Club was formed in 1990.

Currently, the Club sponsors four Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

 

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

2018 International Women's Day

Coolangatta Tweed VIEW Club will be celebrating International Women's Day 2018 with a very special function on Thursday 8th March, 2018 at the South Tweed Sports Club, Minjungbal Drive, South Tweed Heads commencing with Morning Tea at 10 am. DST. 

An excellent programme of inspirational speakers will follow, compered by well-known Events Organiser Maggie-Anne Leybourne of BAM Corporate Events.

Kate Ramsay is a Leadership and Vision Coach and author of "Go with Love";

Shelley Moses is a professional Puppeteer now working in Aged Care as a lifestyle and well-being officer where she has had enormous success with those suffering from dementia;

and our Student Speaker, Keely Smith is a Year 12 Student at St. Josephs Parish High School Banora Point, and is heavily involved in all school activities and the Surf Lifesaving Movement.

Refreshments are served at the conclusion of the Programme and a Trading Table will be available. We look forward to welcoming women from other VIEW Clubs, Service Organisations and the general public. The cost is $16 and bookings can be made up to 26th February 2018 by phoning Penelope Thorpe on 55.343931 or Janice Monk on 55.245707.

VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women and is a proud partner of The Smith Family and its Learning for Life Programmes. The Smith Family is a national charity helping young Australians in need to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.

2018 AREA NI01 International Women's Day

There were 91 VIEW Clubs of Australia NI01 members and their guests who attended an International Women’s Day lunch which was held at The Powerhouse on Saturday, 10 March 2018. The three VIEW Clubs in Tamworth attended along with Manilla VIEW Club and the two clubs from Gunnedah.
