Eden VIEW Club was formed in 1991.
Currently, the Club sponsors three Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

2023 March
At the last Eden VIEW Club meeting in March the Club was delighted to celebrate one of the Club's founding member's 95th birthday. Beryle Kelly was very excited to receive a lovely birthday cake, flowers & gifts from members. Beryle was also overwhelmed to receive a birthday email from her favourite Australian author, Fiona McIntosh.

2023 February
"At the Eden VIEW Club Annual General Meeting, held on 27th February 2023 the Committee for 2023-24 was elected.
These talented ladies will ably progress the Club forward for the next 12 months in the Club's ongoing support of the Smith Family."

2022 November Luncheon
Eden VIEW Club members and guests enjoyed delicious Christmas fare, provided by the Rusty Plough, at the Club's last luncheon meeting for 2022 at the Eden RSL Hall on 28th November.
The tables were beautifully decorated by Vice President, Mary Squires, and her team, there were bon bons on the table and President, Bev Walker, had organised a Christmas "Pass the Parcel" for everyone to enjoy.
New member, Joanne Garton, was warmly welcomed to the Club by President Bev and presented with her Club badge and a Welcome Pack.
Sadly, the Club said goodbye to long time member, Leila Kolega. Leila has been a devoted member of the Eden VIEW Club for over 16 years and has provided much of her time assisting at meetings and fundraising for the Smith Family. Leila was presented with a farewell gift of flowers, a Clivia plant from Zone Councillor, Anne Comery's garden and some VIEW collectable items.
Eden VIEW Club members are looking forward to participating in Eden's Christmas on Imlay on Friday 9th December. The Club will be holding a Christmas raffle stall on Imlay Street. Funds raised will go towards the Club's sponsoring of Australian students in need through the Smith Family.

The Eden VIEW Club's first meeting for 2023 will be held on 27th February and it will be the Club's AGM. The meeting will be held at the Eden RSL Hall, Bass Street, Eden at 11.30am. AREA NG ZONE 03 CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS
On 22 November Zone NG03 held their Christmas celebrations at the Heritage Centre Bega Cheese, where Santa and Mrs Santa visited the members.
Peter Ubrihien a local historian and farmer entertained the members with the history of the Bega valley.
Members represented VIEW Clubs from Narooma, Merimbula Evening, Merimbula Day, Eden and Bega.
Anne Comery, Zone Councillor organized a number of surprises for members via Santa. Lots of laughter was heard.

On 24th October the Eden VIEW Club held a very successful and enjoyable 31st Birthday celebration luncheon at the Eden Amateur Fishing Club's clubrooms. The Fishing Club provided a delicious two course meal for the occasion. In line with the nautical theme for the day, Jayde Rankin, owner of Dive Eden, was the guest speaker and Jayde projected fabulous photos of the amazing sea life that divers encounter in the ocean waters of the Sapphire Coast. The 35 people in attendance greatly appreciated seeing the large variety of marine life found locally.
The Eden VIEW Club wishes to thank the Eden Amateur Fishing Club for their hospitality, the Rusty Plough for the fabulous nautical, birthday cake, Jayde from Dive Eden, all the VIEW members from Merimbula Day and Evening Clubs and the special guests who combined to create a very Happy Birthday for the Eden VIEW Club.

2022 July
"The Eden VIEW Club celebrated 'Christmas in July' at Oaklands, Pambula on the 25th July. VIEW Club members from Bega, Narooma, Merimbula Day and Merimbula Evening joined in the festivities. A member of the Eden Men's Shed and Twofold Ladies Club were also in attendance. There was also a guest appearance from Santa who generously presented everyone with chocolates, if they had been good!
The Oaklands Dining Room was decked out in Christmas decorations and there was even Bon Bons on the tables for everyone. Each table of guests completed a Santa's Visit Application and there was much laughter when Santa read out each table's Application. There were many raffle prizes, a lucky door prize and a 100's Club. Three of the raffle prizes were generously donated by the Eden Men's Shed.
Eden VIEW Club's President, Bev Walker, also known as Santa, said that she was very pleased see so many visitors in attendance and to see how much everyone enjoyed the Christmas in July.
During the event, two Eden VIEW Club members, Beryl Kelly and Pauline Mitchell, were presented with their 30 year membership badges by Past National VIEW Vice President, Pat McRae. Eden VIEW Club's entries in the Spectacle Competition being held by the National VIEW Convention to celebrate 100 years of the Smith Family were also on display. The Spectacles will be judged at the Convention being held in Adelaide from 7th to 9th of September.
A Father's Day raffle is also being held by the Eden VIEW Club. The lovely Eden VIEW Club ladies will be selling raffle tickets outside the Eden Newsagents leading up to Father's day.
The next light luncheon meeting of the Eden VIEW Club will be held at the Eden RSL Hall in Bass Street on Monday, 26th September at 11.30am. Visitors & new members are always made very welcome. For more information, please contact Secretary, Vivien, on 0450 984 390.

"The Eden Day VIEW Club meets for a light luncheon and meeting at 11.30am on the 4th Monday of the month at the RSL Club, Bass Street, Eden.
The members also like to get together socially once a month for coffee, tea and cake! In May, the members met at Florabel in Imlay Street, Eden for a delicious morning tea. The photo below show of some of the members enjoying the morning tea."

2021 Christmas in July
"On 26th July, the Eden VIEW Club celebrated a Christmas in July luncheon at Oaklands, Pambula. What a fabulous time was had by all! The room and tables had been colourfully decorated with Christmas decorations, there were Bon Bons on the tables and a Christmas Trivia tested the knowledge of everyone. There were wonderful raffle and lucky door prizes too. To top the celebrations off, Santa arrived carrying a bag of chocolate delights for everyone.
Santa proceeded to his "throne" and announced that "he" was charging everyone $2 to sit on his knee. The money that Santa raised, together with the raffle money, will go towards the Club's support of disadvantaged children through the Smith Family.
VIEW members from Bega, Merimbula and Narooma Clubs travelled to Oaklands to join in the festivities and thoroughly enjoyed the day."

2019 November
Eden VIEW Club and members from Zone NG03 celebrated the coming of Christmas on Monday, 25 November. There were lots of raffles, games and fun Christmas themes.
A very enjoyable and educational slide show of various animals in Africa was presented by Vicki Telfer, a member who had a recent trip to Zimbabwe.
A farewell to Zone Councillor Valerie was given and the incoming Zone Councillor for 2020 Anne Comery was congratulated by all. Our National Vice President Pat McRae was thanked for her support of our NG03. Pat had an accident the day before and was not able to attend but best wishes and thanks were forward.
The day gave our members time to catch up friends from Narooma, Bega, Merimbula and Eden.
A highlight of the day was the presence of past Zone Councillor, Susan, Present Zone Councillor, Valerie and our incoming Zone Councillor Anne from Eden.
Another highlight was, Angie, a special guest and now member, was welcomed by President Anne. Angie is very thankful to VIEW and the Smith Family for helping her boys via Learning for Life.

Happy 25th Birthday
The Eden VIEW Club celebrated their 25th birthday at Oaklands Café last October. This event was attended by many VIEW members from the Zone,including Susan Stephenson ZC and Pat McRae NC.
The beauty hamper was won by Leila Kolega from Eden consisted of beautiful Natio Products. Natio has been supporting Eden VIEW for the past 10 years giving our club wonderful opportunities to raise funds through meaningful activities throughout the year.
Eden VIEW Club chit chat - August
This week the weather is bringing us signs of Spring on its way. I also feel a spring in my step with all the exciting outings we are embarking on through the rest of the year. Voice Interests Education of Women (VIEW) club enjoy working in our community for 'The Smith Family" and we want to express our appreciation to you all who buy raffle tickets join in with special functions like the recently held Christmas in July event at the Great Southern Inn, and to the fabulous store owners who have our colorful chooks at their businesses to assist in our sponsored children through 'The Smith Family' Learning for Life program.
Last Monday nine members enjoyed a High Tea at the Rusty Plough in Eden and if the chatter was anything to go by, it was a fabulous and successful morning.
August Meeting
Next Meeting will be held at the Fisherman's club on Monday, 22nd August. Theme is "wear a colour of the Olympics" more points if you have an Olympic story.

We are pleased to announce the 56th VIEW National Convention will be held in Hobart, TAS from 8-10 September 2023.
