2019 November

Eden VIEW Club and members from Zone NG03 celebrated the coming of Christmas on Monday, 25 November.  There were lots of raffles, games and fun Christmas themes.

A very enjoyable and educational slide show of various animals in Africa was presented by Vicki Telfer, a member who had a recent trip to Zimbabwe.

A farewell to Zone Councillor Valerie was given and the incoming Zone Councillor for 2020 Anne Comery was congratulated by all.  Our National Vice President Pat McRae was thanked for her support of our NG03.  Pat had an accident the day before and was not able to attend but best wishes and thanks were forward.

The day gave our members time to catch up friends from Narooma, Bega, Merimbula and Eden.

A highlight of the day was the presence of past Zone Councillor, Susan, Present Zone Councillor, Valerie and our incoming Zone Councillor Anne from Eden.

Another highlight was, Angie, a special guest and now member, was welcomed by President Anne.  Angie is very thankful to VIEW and the Smith Family for helping her boys via Learning for Life.

Voice Interests Education of Women (VIEW) club enjoy working in our community for 'The Smith Family" and we want to express our appreciation to you all who buy raffle tickets join in with special functions like the recently held Christmas in July event at the Great Southern Inn, and to the fabulous store owners who have our colorful chooks at their businesses to assist in our sponsored children through 'The Smith Family' Learning for Life program.

Last Monday nine members enjoyed a High Tea at the Rusty Plough in Eden and if the chatter was anything to go by, it was a fabulous and successful morning.
