SPECIAL EVENT

Galston VIEW were honoured to have as their guests, both the Federal Member for Berowra, Julian Leeser, and Branch Manager for Galston Bendigo Bank. Gary Mangan. It was a most interesting event, both gentlemen giving us an incite into the work they are doing within our community.

We told of our Clubs involvement with four Learning for life students, with the help of Bendigo Bank, also making “Mifti Muffs” for Dementia patients and Knee rugs for the aged. On all sides, part of our pledge was indeed to the fore “ helping those in need” Julian took a “Mifti Muff” to Parliament where he gave an excellent wrap up of VIEW Clubs on the whole, and the good work the Members do. Excellent publicity.
