Happy 44th Birthday

Gunnedah VIEW club celebrated their 44th birthday recently with a butterfly theme.

They were joined by visitors from Coonabarabran and Narrabri. The Gunnedah mayor attended and spoke about some wonderful new initiatives in Gunnedah as well as mentioning our upcoming National Convention in Tamworth.

The club scrapbook borrowed back from the historical museum for the day. It was the winner of the Bridget Battersby Award in 2007 and finished at the Convention in Tamworth that year. The scrapbook was completed by Joelz Man who is still producing wonderful table decorations at meetings.

Christmas at Gunnedah 2016

Gunnedah Day VIEW members celebrated Christmas at their last meeting for the year in November in great style.

The colour theme was red and green with kangaroo paw table decorations in those colours with the addition of little koalas amongst the flowers as Gunnedah is called the koala capital of NSW.

Members were joined by VIEW members from Coonabrbran, Manilla, Narrabri and Tamworth making it a very festive and happy day.

Music was provided by Elle ‘n Pete who played tunes that everyone enjoyed.

Gunnedah Day club meets again on 27th January, 2017. Why don’t you join them.

Memorabilia from many weddings

HAPPY 43 BIRTHDAY

Gunnedah Day VIEW Club recently celebrated their 43rd birthday and the theme was weddings with visitors from many clubs in the surrounding region visiting. An interesting collection of memorabilia from many weddings of both club members and visitors was displayed with stories of funny events recounted from years ago with some members celebrating anniversaries for 60 years of marriage.

The table decorations and corsages presented to visitors continued the theme and a great time was had by all.
