NEXT LENNOX HEAD EVENING VIEW CLUB DINNER MEETING:
On advice from National Office all VIEW meetings and events are put on hold for April, May and June. Our overriding consideration is the health and well-being of our members, friends, partners and their families.
Stay well ladies and we will see you all in July!
VIEW is a leading women's volunteer organisation and support network that empowers women to have their voices heard on issues of importance for the future well being of Australian society. VIEW Clubs have a very strong focus on education as part of their philosophy and all moneys raised by all of the 380 VIEW Clubs Australia wide go the The Smith Family for their 'Learning for Life' Program which assists underprivileged Australian children to get the most out of their education and improve their lives. In the past year, VIEW members raised more than $1 million to support more than 1300 children nationally, through the Smith Family's 'Learning for Life' Program.
The idea for an evening VIEW Club in Lennox Head was conceived on an early morning walk with friends along the beach. It had been the dream of long time VIEW member Marie Hicks that a club for the younger women of Lennox Head be formed. After a couple of months of discussions with those who were interested the club was formed, a committee chosen and over 70 women celebrated the "birth" of the new club! The Inaugural Meeting was held in the Beef+Beach Restaurant at the Lennox Point Hotel on Tuesday 9 October 2012. We now join more than 16,000 other Australian women in their commitment in raising awareness of and participating in the work of The Smith Family.
Our club meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Lennox Point Hotel, upstairs in the restaurant, Beef+Beach at 6.30pm for 7.00pm start.
New members most welcome.
