Lithgow VIEW Club

About

Lithgow VIEW Club was formed in 1969.

We are an enthusiastic and friendly group of women, who love getting together with friends, for fun and friendship.  Throughout the year, we invite guest speakers to share their insights on varying topics at our meetings.  We also regularly get together on social outings such as daytime Mystery Coach Trips, Lunches, and Musical performances in Sydney.

But it’s not just fun and socialising!  We are immensely proud of the eight Learning for Life students we sponsor with the money we raise at our events.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it’s all about.

April 2022 Lithgow Easter Meeting

The Lithgow VIEW Club celebrated their Easter meeting by holding an Easter Hat parade.  Many of the members wore their Easter hats and they looked spectacular.   There was a competition for the Prettiest Hat which was won by Denise Fitzgerald and another for the Most Creative Hat which was won by Susan Banning.   We held a one minute silence to remember our dear member and friend Vanessa Glendinning.  Rest in peace dear Vanessa.

Our guest speaker was Kate Hurrell, CEO of Three Tree Lodge, who gave a very interesting talk on the health of Women in Ageing.  There was a 10 year presentation to Cheryl Small and a new member presentation pack given to Janette Szann.  We wish Beryl Evans all the best for her big 90th birthday this month.
