Lithgow VIEW Club
About
Lithgow VIEW Club was formed in 1969.
We are an enthusiastic and friendly group of women, who love getting together with friends, for fun and friendship. Throughout the year, we invite guest speakers to share their insights on varying topics at our meetings. We also regularly get together on social outings such as daytime Mystery Coach Trips, Lunches, and Musical performances in Sydney.
But it’s not just fun and socialising! We are immensely proud of the eight Learning for Life students we sponsor with the money we raise at our events.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it’s all about.

Incredible Doreen
This month we had 89 members and 5 guests at our luncheon General meeting. It was another wonderful meeting with all our members enjoying the friendship of VIEW.
President Sue presented Gloria with her Decade Pin for 20 years of Membership. We also celebrated a milestone birthday for Wendy who is turning 80.
Our Guest Speaker was Doreen Peters from the Hartley Rural Bushfire Brigade Catering team. Doreen is the Co-ordinator. Doreen, who is 81 years young, has been with the Brigade for 60 years and she worked 80 days straight through the recent Gosper Mountain Bushfire, feeding all the NSW RFS Volunteers. She has 2 sons and 4 grandsons who also fought on the fire front.
It was a pleasure to thank her and listen to her incredible stories about her experiences during bushfires and other emergency services.
