About

Mosman VIEW Club was formed in 2019.

Club members are actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs, currently sponsoring two Learning for Life students.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Club News

Keep up to date with what is happening around the club.

Activities

Friendly casual get togethers such as coffee mornings, visit galleries and exhibitions, easy local walks possibly with a destination for coffee or drinks
Book Club – a not so serious Book Group that meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 3pm to chat and share and feel no obligation to have finished the book as friendship and camaraderie is paramount
Day Trips – enjoy a social outing with a group
Lunches – local venues with good food and enjoyable company on the first Thursday of the month

Speakers

We have interesting speakers at our meetings, covering diverse subjects such as the Japanese art of flower arrangement, the author of The Afghan Wife talking about her book or the Mosman or a member of the Mosman Historic Society

Community Expo in Ulladulla

Community Connect Southern Shoalhaven (CCSS) recently held their inaugural Community Expo at the Ulladulla Civic Centre where sixty (60) local Community not-for-profit organisations came together to show their wares. VIEW was well represented on the day;

Dear friends, hopefully other members will vote for us, we are in the lead so far and have the chance of winning $3000 for our students - Gunnedah Evening VIEW Club has been nominated as a community organisation of note in Greater Bank's Greater New England Community Funding Competition. Please vote as often as you can on the Greater Bank voting page, https://greater.com.au/greaternewengland, to maximise our chances of winning $5,000 in funding from the bank. Visitors to the Greater Bank website may vote once per hour."

Re-purpose. Re-invent. Re-use.

VIEW’s 60th Anniversary commemorative Tea Towel with its retro design in our purple & teal colours, was inspired by one the first VIEW brochures developed in the 60’s. The Tea Towel also represented a collection of women from various eras reminiscent of the graphics of dress making patterns.
