2022 March International Women's Day
The IWD held on 24 March 2022, hosted by NA02 clubs Branxton, Denman and Muswellbrook was a great success.
MC for the day, NA02 ZC, Dianne Whitten coordinated two of the speakers Tracey Ward on Sustainability and Marina Lee-Warner on Homelessness on two of the VIEW Clubs resolutions.
Anne-Louise O’Connor, PNP, spoke about VIEW, The Smith Family and the work we do supporting disadvantaged Australia children with their education saying there was a need to ‘Break the Bias’, the theme for IWD, early.
Simone Bailey talked about the challenges of getting her first book published, she has since written three books, and Amelia Berasconi, Upper Hunter ABC radio breakfast announcer, spoke of the importance of keeping the local community informed on importance issues.
All in all a great day, with VIEW members from Branxton, Denman, Muswellbrook, Redhead and Wangi Wangi as well as many guests attending, full of friendship and fun.
A big thank you to NA02 for hosting such a wonderful day.

The Segenhoe Inn Aberdeen
High Tea Outing
On the 17th November 2016, 14 members from Muswellbrook Day VIEW Club travelled to Aberdeen for High Tea. We also joined in the fun of having our photo taken under the Fountain at the ‘Segenhoe Inn’ An afternoon of fun and frivolity was had by all, as can be seen by nearly everybody sitting (as opposed to standing) under the fountain because of the beautiful delicacies consumed during the afternoon, including mini croissants, a variety of sandwiches and of course no High Tea would be complete without scones with jam and cream, which preceded the photograph.
