Nowra Evening VIEW Club

About

Nowra Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1978.

Currently, our Club sponsors four Smith Family Learning for Life students, two of whom are now in Senior High School.

We are also actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

When

 

We hold our Dinner Meeting on the 4th Tuesday of each month (with the exception of December)

at 6 pm for 6.30 pm, at the Bomaderry Bowling Club.

Area NG Gala Day - Batemans Bay

On Monday 29th August, 14 members and friends of our Club attended the Area NG Gala Day, held at Batemans Bay.

One of our members, Lyn Gerstenberg, past National Vice President, presents flowers to current National Vice President, Toni Thomas.

High Tea and Shoe Party

Thursday 23 June at 1 pm

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of fun at our 'Popping Candy Shoe Party' and delicious High Tea, and raised much needed funds for our Learning for Life students.

Area NG02 Zone Conference and Church Service

Zone NGO2 Councillor Fay Kastelein from Mollymook VIEW Club hosted the annual Church Service and conference for VIEW Clubs Australia on Friday 13th May 2016. Eight clubs from Sussex Inlet to Moruya were represented by 76 VIEW Members

Continuing to grow existing clubs and creating new clubs remains just as important today as it was 55 years ago when a small group of women met with the object of forming the very first VIEW Club.

VIEW's volunteering role

VIEW Club members are some of the most active volunteers for The Smith Family. Members assist at after school Learning Clubs, mentor students, supervise students in the reading program and assist in many Smith Family offices around the country.
