RAYMOND TERRACE VIEW CLUB ‘WALK WITH VIEW’
On Wednesday October 17, Raymond Terrace VIEW Club hosted a ‘Walk with VIEW’ around the Raymond Terrace shopping centres.
The weather was very kind to us as we strolled through the area with many of the ladies wearing either their VIEW polo tops, purple tops or carrying the VIEW umbrella handing out VIEW brochures along the way.
Representatives from Cessnock, Maitland and Tilligerry VIEW Clubs as well as Giacomo Arnott representing Ryan Palmer Mayor of Port Stephens, Berneice Chapman representing Meryl Swanson Federal Member for Paterson and Cynthia Culhane, The Smith Family Saver Plus Coordinator joined in the walk.
A few of the members took a slight detour to the material and chocolate shops! The morning ended with 20 of the walkers having a lovely lunch at the Raymond Terrace Junction Inn Hotel.
A big ‘thank you’ to Cath Rizzi, Kathy Bellamy and all the ladies of Raymond Terrace VIEW for organising such a wonderful day promoting VIEW Clubs of Australia.

The theme for the day was “June Brides” – not too many in their bridal dresses but a few as Mother of the Bride!!
It was lovely to have Mavis Mordue, inaugural President of Raymond Terrace VIEW who, at the age of 91 has been a member of VIEW for 53 years as has Wilma McNeill who is also an inaugural member.
