Walk with VIEW at the Tilligerry Habitat

September

In September members from Tilligerry, Maitland, Nelson Bay, Raymond Terrace and Cessnock VIEW Clubs met at the Tilligerry Habitat for the NA01 Zone Walk with VIEW which was hosted by the Tilligerry VIEW Club.  The Tilligerry VIEW ladies had made some yummy cakes for morning tea before we set off for the walk through the Habitat, with the more energetic walking along the Tanilba Bay foreshore on what can only be described as a stunning Spring morning.

After the walk all 22 VIEW ladies met for a delicious lunch, cooked by the volunteers who look after the Habitat.  Federal Member for Paterson, Meryl Swanson, joined us for lunch and congratulated VIEW Clubs of Australia, and The Smith Family, for the great work they do especially with the sponsorship of the Learning for Life program.

NA01 Zone Councillor, Anne-Louise O’Connor thanked everyone for attending, Tilligerry VIEW Club for hosting the event and looked forward to organising another NA01 Walk with VIEW next year which would be hosted by another club in NA01.
