Check out the variety of hats
There was a variety of hats on show at the May Mad Hatters lunch meeting.
May Meeting
May's lunch meeting certainly was bright with our Mad Hatters theme. So many clever ladies created colourful hats, it was extremely difficult to pick a winner.
Our guest speaker was Mr Oliver Millington from Clarence Valley U3A. U3A started up in Yamba back in 2001 and has grown quickly. U3A organises many groups for our community including Tai Chi, Lets All Sing, Little bit of Culture, croquet, men’s and women’s shed, and Joy of Gardening, just to name a few. U3A are holding their Joining Day om May 27th at Treelands Drive, Community Centre.
On behalf of the Yamba Day VIEW members, we wish to send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of our long-term member and friend Margaret Fairfax, on her passing.
Our May outing was to the “Garden Shed” in Lawrence on Monday, May 29.
Our get-well wishes go out to our members who have been unwell.
Next lunch meeting is Monday, June 29 at 9.30 for 10.00 am start. All new members and guests are most welcome.
If you are unable to attend please contact Lyn on 02 6646 6134 the Friday prior.
