2018 April

Guest Speakers “Rocco and Aldo” were from Coastal Caring Clowns.  http://www.coastalcaringclowns.com

Most of the ladies wore red coloured clothes, as April is the month when the Club celebrates “Ruby’s Birthday”.  On the 40th Anniversary of VIEW Clubs Australia, our Club decided to ask everyone to wear RED once a year.   To begin with, we all brought along new clothes for a fictitious “Ruby”.   On the first Anniversary we brought clothes for a one year old child, on the second, a two year old and so on.   Eventually VIEW club offices decided that they would not collect clothes anymore, so now we place envelopes on each table for members to make a contribution if they so wish.  All donations are for ‘Learning for Life’ – enabling disadvantaged children to receive an education.

Thanks & regards, Diana
