A valued part of The Smith Family

Logan VIEW Club

Logan VIEW Club was formed in 2008.

Currently, the Club sponsors five Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

We are a friendly club with over 45 members and growing. As well as our monthly lunch, we hold a social outing each month and these activities range from craft morning teas to bus trips, theatre parties and more.

Our members are also involved in volunteering for homework clubs run by The Smith Family at schools in our area.

Our motto is Fun and Friendship and Carmel would like to welcome you to our lunch.  Please phone or text her to arrange on 0403 950 519.

Upcoming Events

Wednesday 9 June         Monthly lunch meeting

March 2021    IWD Fashion Parade

To celebrate being a woman on International Women's Day in 2021, Logan held a Fashion Parade with fashion from Rodney Clark Fashion.

Many visitors came along and swelled our numbers.  Everyone had a fun filled morning followed by a scrumptious lunch, all the while raising funds for our Learning for Life sponsored students.

February 2021 Coffee Morning

There is nothing like a coffee morning to get Logan ladies mingling as those who attended the first one of the year at Luv-a-Coffee at Beenleigh will confirm.

Santa visited the Logan Christmas Lunch and spread joy and good wishes for a better 2021 to all the members.

Bagpiper Carl opened the program with Christmas songs and Santa Cheryl finished with gifts of chocolate.  The last trading table of the year was a huge success selling out of all the goodies on offer.

The raffle prizes were Christmas hampers made up from donations from members.  There were 14 in total.

Trading Table assistants, Barbara and Margaret.

Logan threw a party for its 12th birthday during October.  Balloons and cake were the highlight of the day.  A record number of members attended and many won raffle prizes or worked out the answers to how many five cent coins were collected or completed the puzzling rebus pages.

Ten-year pins were awarded to Trish Arnold and Gwen Revell who have both held committee positions during the twelve years.

The theme of wearing diamonds carried on into a History of VIEW and some trivia on Diamonds presented by the Delegate, Cheryl, all to celebrate VIEW’s 60th year.

2020 September

Logan was able to hold the first lunch meeting in six months at the new venue.  However, due to a burst water pipe the booked room was unavailable but Diggers Services Club were able to accommodate the club in another section of the venue.

All members agreed that it was fabulous to be able to hold meetings again and catch-up with VIEW friends.  A very profitable Trading Table was organised to raise much needed funds for the Learning for Life students supported by Logan.
