Logan VIEW Club was formed in 2008.
Currently, the Club sponsors five Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.
We are a friendly club with over 40 members and growing. As well as our monthly lunch, we hold a social outing each month and these activities range from craft morning teas to bus trips, theatre parties and more.
Our members are also involved in volunteering for homework clubs run by The Smith Family at schools in our area.
Our motto is Fun and Friendship and Carmel would like to welcome you to our lunch. Please phone her to arrange on 3711 9146.

The club's lunch meetings recommenced on 9 September 2020 at our new venue, Diggers Services Club, 42 Blackwood Road, Logan Central.
Logan was able to hold the first lunch meeting in six months at the new venue. However, due to a burst water pipe the booked room was unavailable but Diggers Services Club were able to accommodate the club in another section of the venue.
All members agreed that it was fabulous to be able to hold meetings again and catch-up with VIEW friends. A very profitable Trading Table was organised to raise much needed funds for the Learning for Life students supported by Logan.
IWD Event March
Logan included an International Women's Day Progrram with the regular monthly meeting in March.
Three Guest Speakers, born in different parts of the world and now residents of Australia, spoke on their home countries and their reason for migrating. They were from Fiji, Sri Lanka and South Africa.
Hemlata from Fiji demonstrated how to wear a Saree. Hemlata is a member of Carindale VIEW and many of her fellow VIEW club members joined her for lunch.
Buddhika also wore a Sari but it was worn in a different style as is the custom in Sri Lanka.
Lynette spoke of her family living in South Africia.
Logan members made beautiful table decorations out of native flowers woven into wreaths and placed candles and porcelain dolls dressed in traditional attire in the center.
Members were encouraged to wear attire representing their family heritage. Cheryl, Mistress of Ceremonies, wore her tartan.
Fashions Under the Gazebo
Logan VIEW started the fundraising year by having a fashion and shoe party at The Edge Café at Beenleigh. Member and friends gathered in the garden at the back of the café to enjoy a morning tea while viewing clothes from Rodney Clark Fashions and shoes from Shoes to You.

A Trading Table was a great way to get those last minute gifts.
Woodridge State School Choir surprised the members and entertained with traditional songs from some of the children's homelands and Christmas songs.
Merry Christmas from all at Logan VIEW Club

A very Special Guest Speaker and The Smith Family Ambassador, Dr Craig Challen OAM who retold the spell binding story of the Thai Soccer boys' and coach's cave rescue, attended the Ball.
2019 July Garage Sale
A beautiful winter's morning saw the Logan Club hold a Garage Sale at the home of our President, Cheryl. Members of the club had spent many hours sorting, pricing and displaying an enormous amount of donated items. And the result was terrific.
