Logan VIEW Club was formed in 2008.
Currently, the Club sponsors three Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.
We are a friendly club with over 40 members and growing. As well as our monthly lunch, we hold a social outing each month and these activities range from craft morning teas to bus trips, theatre parties and more.
Our members are also involved in volunteering for homework clubs run by The Smith Family at schools in our area.
Our motto is Fun and Friendship and Pat would like to welcome you to our lunch. Please phone her to arrange on 3804 6931.

Spring is in the Air
November luncheon included a Make it, Bake it, Grow it Trading Table which proved very popular with the members. As November is Spring Racing Carnival month, members were encouraged to wear hats or facinators. Marlo from The Smith Family LfL Co-ordinator presented a beautiful bunch of flowers to the best hat winner, Margaret.

10th Birthday Bash
Logan VIEW has reached a milestone celebrating its ten year anniversary in October.
General Manager Qld of The Smith Family, Alan Le May joined with National and Zone Counsellors, members of surrounding clubs and Logan members to help make this a birthday to remember. Inaugural members received their ten year badges and many dressed to the theme of Lavender & Lace. Lavender teddy bears adorned the tables and together with the vases of lavender made the whole room smell sweet.

Viola's Patch, Open Garden - September
An Open Garden, Viola's Patch, at Bahrs Scrub outside of Beenleigh, was the meeting place for Logan members in September. A delicious morning tea and tour of the cottage garden was conducted by our hosts, Viola and Neil. Although a little wet, it did not discourage a delightful discovery walk through the garden. After the garden tour members retired to the tavern down the road for lunch.

Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens Bus Trip
A beautiful winter's day set the scene for the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens' bus trip in July. By the time J C Slaughter Falls picnic ground was reached the day had started to warm and morning tea provided by our bus driver, Ron, was had in the sunshine.
A quick trip around the mountain, passing the television towers, and the lookout, our next stop, was reached. On then to the gardens and a leisurely stroll around the spectacular grounds before a delicious lunch in the restaurant.
