Pine Rivers VIEW Club

About

Pine Rivers VIEW Club was formed in 1996.

If you want to have FUN, make NEW FRIENDS and support an AUSTRALIAN CHARITY at the same time, come and join Pine Rivers VIEW club! We would love to welcome you.

Our luncheon meeting is the third Wednesday of each month. We have either an interesting guest speaker or some other entertainment on the day, including raffles and prizes.

If you wish to go we have an outing on the first Wednesday of every month. Past outings have included boat trips on the Pumicestone Passage, a Brisbane River cruise, visited a butterfly farm, celebrated Australia Day, had pizza and trivia in a local park, soup and crusty bread lunches and even a high tea.

On the fourth Wednesday of every month you can also join up with other members for a "Coffee and Chat” morning at a local venue.

At each of our functions we raise funds for The Smith Family. Our club proudly supports three disadvantaged Australian children with their education and we are regularly updated with their news and achievements.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

When

  • Meeting Day on third Wednesday each month at 10.30 for 11.00 am
  • Held at Murrumba Downs Tavern

Members recently enjoyed an outing outing to CREEC. The little nesting box up in the tree with debris, shows how high the flooding was in 2011!

2022 July Outing

What a fantastic soup day at Sandra’s! Everyone had a great time! The soups and treats were fabulous.  We had trivia, jokes, raffles and even pass the parcel! Won by our lovely Bessie.

The sun stayed out and the rain was nowhere to be seen! Thank you Linda for organising, and Sandra for allowing us to come to her beautiful home.

Day Out

Lovely day out for members; into the city by train for some and bus for others. Tour of City Hall and a lovely lunch at the Old Shingle Inn. Thank you Linda for organising.

The exhibit was of all pictures of Brisbane. The flowers were made by the indigenous people cutting them from a book of their languages. Really lovely.
