Pine Rivers VIEW Club was formed in 1996.
If you want to have FUN, make NEW FRIENDS and support an AUSTRALIAN CHARITY at the same time, come and join Pine Rivers VIEW club! We would love to welcome you.
Our luncheon meeting is the third Wednesday of each month. We have either an interesting guest speaker or some other entertainment on the day, including raffles and prizes.
If you wish to go we have an outing on the first Wednesday of every month. Past outings have included boat trips on the Pumicestone Passage, a Brisbane River cruise, visited a butterfly farm, celebrated Australia Day, had pizza and trivia in a local park, soup and crusty bread lunches and even a high tea.
On the fourth Wednesday of every month you can also join up with other members for a "Coffee and Chat” morning at a local venue.
At each of our functions we raise funds for The Smith Family. Our club proudly supports three disadvantaged Australian children with their education and we are regularly updated with their news and achievements.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

August 2020 - Pine Rivers VIEW Club members back together after COVID-19 hiatus
Pine Rivers Day VIEW Club welcomed back members to its first meeting since Club activities were suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions in March. Members met at the Murrumba Downs Tavern, and were excited to once again catch up, after spending more than four months apart. The meeting was filled with plenty of fun and laughter, and lots of chatting.
VIEW, which stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women, and is a leading women’s national organisation; the largest community supporter of children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
Our club sponsors three children as part of The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program, which have been front of mind during the intervening months. Remote raffles and donations were organised by the club to ensure these students will not miss out on the funding needed for their education.
2020 has been one of the most disruptive years in these students’ lives, so it’s a testament to VIEW clubs everywhere that they remained committed to the education of their sponsored children.
VIEW is currently celebrating its 60th anniversary – with the theme of 60 years of strength & support. This message is reflected in the way that VIEW members have remained connected during these unprecedented and challenging times - caring about each other as well as the students they support through The Smith Family.
New members are always very welcome, our club meets on the third Wednesday of the month for lunch at the Murrumba Downs Tavern, Dohles Rocks Road, Murrumba Downs at 11:00 am.
