Redcliffe Peninsula VIEW club held their Annual High Tea and Fashion Parade in August 2018.
The High Tea started a few years ago at the private home of Sue, one of our VIEW ladies.
With lovely tablecloths and beautiful owned English China that Sue had inherited from her mother and collected herself from her travels. It became so popular, that it outgrew the Sue’s home as we could at a pinch 58 Ladies.
It was decided to move it to bigger premises. This enabled us to invite 155 Ladies, this was now our Major fundraising function to raise money for The Smith Family.
It’s growth is due to the wonderful work and donations of our Ladies in our Redcliffe VIEW.
Our raffle with many business donating Prizes and Vouchers enabled up to raise $3,500
Fashion on the Go supplied Clothes for our Fashion parade with models from Redcliffe VIEW.
Rosa from Fashion on the Go sold many garments and donated 10% back to the VIEW club.
Without the generosity of our Ladies help and support in cooking and preparing sandwiches,
Working in the kitchen, waiting on tables, hostesses, models and Front of house we would not have had such a magnificent achievement in raising all up $7700.00 in total.
