At the November lunch meeting, the club was pleased to present Sue with the MAD award.

Sue has been a member of the Redcliffe Peninsula VIEW since 2010. She has been a very involved member holding several club positions. Her contribution to fund raising has been phenomenal. Sue is an outstanding member who goes out of her way to make all feel welcome with her bright and happy personality.

Sue was delighted to be nominated and to receive the MAD award which was presented by Zone Councillor, Robyn and Club Delegate, Suzanne.

Melbourne Cup Celebrations

What a wonderful afternoon we had sipping champagne, enjoying a terrific lunch and watching the running of the 2021 Melbourne Cup.

Thankyou Suzanne and Trevor (pictured below) for opening up your home to hold this last fund raising event for the 2021 year. Loretta again did a marvellous job of organising the event with the hardworking members of Redcliffe Peninsula VIEW club who helped prepare and serve the lunch.

October Birthday Celebrations

Zone Councillor Robyn presents Kaye with a 20 year Service Award

21 Years and Going Strong

In October, we celebrated our 21st birthday with entertainer, Wendy Murray  presenting some great music for us to sing along to.

We shared our birthday celebrations with long time member Kaye who was presented with her VIEW 20 year membership badge. Joining in  2001, Kaye has been a very active member hosting morning teas and progressive dinners.

She has held club committee positions as President and Treasurer and been a recipient of the MAD (Making a Difference Award). Kaye has enjoyed the social aspects of VIEW attending conventions and supporting fund raising events and is looking forward to enjoying being a member of VIEW for many more years.
