Supporting Others

Guest Speaker April 2023

Our guest speaker for the month of April pictured here with Pres. Lyn, was Deb Digby from Support the Girls, an organization which provides amenities for ladies who would otherwise not have the benefit of such things we often take for granted.

As a result of Deb’s visit we will be collecting various amenities to be presented at our May luncheon.

St Patrick's Day

Celebrations in 2023

Our St. Patrick’s Day theme at our March meeting brought heaps of color green and orange of course.

None more colorful than Judy (Student Liaison) for our Club. Judy gave us a brief which included delightful messages from our young students and of course the status quo with regard to all our students.

New Members Welcomed in 2023

New members Deb and Judy receive their welcome pack from President Lynn and Vice President Denise.

Thank you Rebecca

Pres Lyn presenting Rebecca a certificate of appreciation for her tireless efforts through the years.

Welcome Meagan

2023 March

Members were delighted to engage Meagan Norris an extraordinary crime writer, as our guest speaker for our March 2023 meeting. We were spell-bound beginning to end, as Meagan regaled us with her own biography that brought her from the UK to Australia and subsequently gave us an insight to her research of more than a dozen publications, most notably Out of the Ashes and The Messiah’s Bride.

We hope to welcome Meagan to our Club again.

Farewell 2022

A sincere Thank you:

THANK YOU..
Pyjamas and Blanket Donations for Homeless Women and Children.
Once again our members generosity was overwhelming. The Salvation Army gratefully received our donations and will distribute same to homeless women and children.
They were especially grateful because there are even more homeless families after the floods earlier this year.
Many women are sleeping in their cars while their children are sleeping at relatives or friends homes...Relief programs unfortunately move very slowly!

Lunch With Friends

2022 June

An the end of June lunch with friends was enjoyed by all at a local Main Beach restaurant. The sumptuous comestibles were a surprise and delight.
