About
Runaway Bay VIEW Club was formed in 1993.
Runaway Bay VIEW Club has 86 enthusiastic members who support 15 Learning for Life Students through The Smith Family Program.
Approximately 58 members meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Dublin Docks Hotel Restaurant, at Harbour Town for lunch and to hear interesting guest speakers or participate in an event and enjoy each other’s company.
The last Friday of each month we go on bus trips, hold fashion parades, boat trips Theatre nights.
We always welcome new members so if you would like to make new friends and support the Learning for Life Program – helping Aussie kids with their education whilst having fun.

A note from the President
JOIN US: If you are interested in finding out about our Runaway Bay VIEW Club you are most welcome to come with a member or by yourself, phone me to book in for lunch. We are a very friendly group of ladies, we have 111 members to date. If you have spare time and would enjoy socially meeting new friends each month and helping also to support our Learning for Life Students (Smith Family) come along. Our lunches are held at Dublin Docks restaurant Harbour Town cost is $35.00 for a 2 course lunch (choice of 4 meals - 2 desserts) includes a glass of wine and raffle tickets.

2020 August
Special Presentation for 60th Anniversary of VIEW at Runaway Bay VIEW Club
A commemorative hand painted porcelain plate was presented to our National Councillor Evelyn Berg and Runaway Bay President Lynette Drew at our club meeting on the 11th of August 2020, by the artist Ilma Lees. The detail on the artwork depicts the strength and support VIEW Clubs throughout Australia extent to all its members while gathering socially with a special purpose of supporting ‘Learning for Life’ programs.

Wangi Wangi VIEW Club
After a delay due to COVID-19 restrictions Wangi Wangi VIEW Club (near Lake Macquarie) opened on 14 September. Thirty two new members were welcomed on the day with three new members joining.
