Adelaide Pioneer VIEW Club was formed in 1999.

Currently, the Club sponsors three Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

2023 April "Easter Parade"

Easter Parade was the theme for our 24th birthday celebrations.
Guest speaker, Carolyn Mesecke, from the Metropolitan Musical & Theatre Company spoke about how a show comes together and showcased hats and gowns from their recent productions of ˋHello Dolly‘ and ˋMy Fair Lady´.

A very successful fashion parade was recently held at The Maid of Auckland Hotel with over 40 in attendance.  Fashions were provided by Mid Coast Styling. 

Thank you to Tina  and Sue from our Club and Gwenda  and Margie  from Adelaide City Evening  VIEW Club for being models on the day.

Remembering the ANZAC's

In April we celebrated our 23rd birthday at The Arkaba Hotel, with the theme of Remembering the ANZACs. 

Our guest speaker was the niece of John Everett Ford and she spoke of his involvement with the Spitfire planes during the war.  It was a wonderful afternoon with many guests from other VIEW Clubs joining us for our celebrations.

Members were excited to celebrate our Club's twenty second birthday in April, with an Aussie theme.

Adelaide Pioneer VIEW Club

SA VIEW Development Team

A new Development Team (DT) for 2022/3 has been hard at work supporting our existing 19 VIEW Clubs. We have also been investigating locations for our 20th VIEW Club, and hope to have one location approved, and Club inaugurated during 2023. Our Mission is to: Assist our SA VIEW Clubs to reach their full potential. Raise community awareness of VIEW, its role and purpose.

Re-purpose. Re-invent. Re-use.

VIEW’s 60th Anniversary commemorative Tea Towel with its retro design in our purple & teal colours, was inspired by one the first VIEW brochures developed in the 60’s. The Tea Towel also represented a collection of women from various eras reminiscent of the graphics of dress making patterns.
