We are a friendly group of women who enthusiastically support activities to raise money for The Smith Family's Learning for Life program and our ten sponsored students.
Monthly lunch meetings provide an opportunity to hear interesting guest speakers and our fundraising activities include Bunnings BBQs, trading tables and raffles.
Some members put their skills to use in making items for the students such as library bags. More fun and socialising is provided through our annual bus trip, monthly morning teas and outings.
Our Club was formed in 2000 and our birthday celebrations are a highlight of the year.

At our September meeting a wonderful collection of 2,671 stationery items was presented to Tania Marshall-Bates from our local The Smith Family's Learning for Life program. The project developed from the 76 pencil cases that were donated by Bunnings Woodville and our generous members provided the items to fill them.
Come Fly with Me was the theme of our 17th birthday.
Attendees were asked to dress to represent countries they had visited or would like to visit. A wonderful variety of interesting costumes from all over the world were worn.

HELPING WITH FUNDRAISING
Representatives of our club joined other SA VIEW members to sell the People's Choice Credit Union lottery tickets at the Castle Plaza Shopping Centre. The money raised was for The Smith Family's reading program, student2student, which matches students who need to improve their reading with peer buddies who help and encourage them with their reading.
