The Marion VIEW Club held an Australian Quiz Day Fundraiser on Sunday 13th October at the Tonsley Hotel. We had the most fun filled day with Pauline Glover officiating proceedings, Sylvia Varnas (organiser) and Marie Schwerdt (raffles and adjudicator).
A great time was had by all!!!!

Lendlease has a Community Connect Program – they invite all community groups to attend a Retirement Village Tour (one at King George Avenue, Hove and one at Vermont).
The Marion VIEW Club attended the Vermont Retirement Village, 7a Wheaton Street, South Plympton on the 24 May. The only requirement is that you need 15 members or more, to attend to receive the $500.00 gift card. We were provided a free morning tea, which was absolutely scrumptious. We had a guided tour of the village which showcased their two bedroom homes and apartments (1 bedroom and 2 bedroom) some of which were fully serviced (including meals).
I can highly recommend this Community Connect Program as it is a wonderful fundraiser for any VIEW Club in South Australia.
Bunnings Edwardstown Cake Stall

2019 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
On Friday 1st March 2019 the Marion VIEW Club hosted our popular International Women's Day community event at Club Marion.
We had a very successful day with 183 ladies attending this event. Our guest speaker was Jessica Adamson a journalist and presenter on Seven News Adelaide. Jessica proved to be very interesting and spoke about the challenges of her job and her love of reporting.
