Creating Connections
Margaret Edwards receives VIEW pen and certificate from club Program Officer Christine
In March 2022
Our March meeting speaker was Margaret Edwards representing the community organisation Casey Cardinia for Refugees.
In the spirit of creating connections and education of women, Margaret told us about the history and plight of refugees in Australia; from the Vietnam era to those who are still in detention today.
We discovered that some members were involved in similar efforts in other organisations. It was an enlightening session.
Exceptional Meeting in June 2021
Our last meeting was terrific! The guest speaker was Danielle Kutchel, staff writer for the Star Group who has been our 'connection' for stories over the last few months in the Berwick Star and Pakenham Gazette newspapers.
We are delighted Danielle has signed up to come to our next meeting!

Bushfire Recovery
Four members of Berwick Evening VIEW Club took advantage of one of the best Autumn days in May for a drive to Marysville, Victoria to see its recovery from the 2009 bushfires.

2021 April
After dinner speakers were reintroduced to the list of activities conducted at Berwick Evening VIEW Club’s monthly meetings and who better to start the season in April than popular Berwick identity Neil Lucas PSM, JP. Neil came to share his interest in the history of Berwick and the background of the names of some of the streets, parks and landmarks in Berwick and the surrounding district at a special meeting on Monday 19 April.
All enjoyed an enlightening evening and Neil’s kind words about The Berwick Evening VIEW Club: I like speaking at functions held by people who support the disadvantaged in our community.
Please contact Jan 03 9705 9009 if you would like to join the Berwick Evening VIEW Club next month.

2021 March
Berwick Evening VIEW held their first Dine Out on 31 March at the Copper and Fox in Pakenham, Victoria. Food was great and the company even better.
Throughout the year in addition to the monthly meeting, the Club holds a dine out to try different eateries in the area. We mix it up - time of day and day of the week and cuisine; thus enabling as many members as possible to participate.
Media coverage in 2021
Berwick Evening VIEW Club is seeking women who would like to make social connections while making a difference, and have recently had acknowledgement by their local paper.
