VIEW is back in 2021
Berwick Springs View Club is very excited to announce that our monthly meetings have finally been able to recommence!
We are still at the same venue set out above, being the Cranbourne RSL Club. All the other details remain the same and apart from signing into the RSL on arrival to cover the Covid requirements, not much had changed, which is great. Anyone interested in coming needs to email to let us know, because we do have to advise numbers to the RSL.
We are all keeping our fingers crossed that the status quo remains 😀. Visitors are very welcome.
Our club commenced the New Year with our annual Chicken and Champagne luncheon in the 20th January. Our ladies enjoyed a lovely relaxed luncheon provided by the committee including chicken, salads and sweets, as well as champagne😃
If you are interested in joining our happy band for our first meeting, please email Carol on the email above. We always welcome new members. Our guest speaker for our first meeting will be Lyn Geer from The Smith Family. A great chance for new members to learn something about our organisation.’
Our club, Berwick Springs VIEW Club, has also been advised, that due to renovations at the Cranbourne RSL where we have our monthly luncheon meetings, our next meeting on the 3rd February, which will also be our AGM, Will now be held at The Affinity Residents Centre, 5 Meridian Circuit, Berwick. Start time is 11.30 am and lunch will be provided by the committee for the normal monthly luncheon cost of $20.
Sweet 16th Birthday Celebrations
Our meeting on the 7th October saw us celebrating our 16th birthday. Our overall theme was floral and James Wall from Flower World gave us a really entertaining and at times quite funny talk on his time in the nursery business, as well as giving away a few ‘spot prizes’ of plants. We were also told that surprisingly enough, the super food of the vegetable world is Watercress! Big surprise to us all.
Each month sees us entertained by very interesting speakers whilst we enjoy a lovely lunch. If you would like to come and experience our meetings, please email Carol on firstname.lastname@example.org. You are welcome to attend as a visitor for 3 meetings, before deciding on membership or not.
Our ladies are a friendly bunch and welcome new faces.
