Boronia VIEW Club was formed in 1990.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.
We are a friendly group of women from the ages of 55+.
We meet monthly for a General Meeting/Luncheon at the Eastwood Golf Club. We have a variety of many wonderful speakers every month.
Our aim is to raise funds for our eight Learning for Life Students that we sponsor through The Smith Family. We are immensely proud of the work that we all do for these students.
- Meeting Day on 3rd Friday each month

2019 June VA Gala
Photo opposite is of a group of ladies from Boronia view club who attended the Gala luncheon at the Ringwood civic Centre.
It was a great day with time to catch up with friends.
Good food, wonderful raffle prizes and the Guest speakers finished off a nice day.
A wonderful surprise!!
"I received a phone call from the Boronia Lions Club, and they had read an article our Publicity Officer had placed in The Boronia Basin local paper and they were impressed that we supported eight Learning For Life Students and so they wished to make a donation to our club.
I met with them and they presented me with a cheque for $500.00. This was a wonderful surprise."

BORONIA VIEW CLUB FUND RAISER
Boronia VIEW secretary Helen came up with a brilliant idea “Let's make a calendar.” So with much enthusiasm the big task became a reality. Fortunately treasurer Lyn’s husband is a fantastic photographer and he generously gave up his time to meet with ladies gathered in different locations to make a photo for each month. These included the local CFA who were most co-operative and even allowed the girls to dress up in their uniforms. There followed a visit to a coffee shop where we played ladies for the morning, the monthly card group girls looking very serious with their eye shades on, and the monthly book club girls surrounded by a great array of books. We did however draw the line at a “bare all month.”
As well as the above, our birthday month ladies were holding face masks for our Masquerade birthday theme and of course our Christmas meeting with Santa. Each monthly photo has an appropriate caption plus club dates.
Helen approached a printing company and they were happy to print our calendar at no cost; weren't we lucky! Our club sponsors six learning for life students. This inventive idea proved to be a very successful fund raiser.
