Geelong Evening VIEW Club

About

Geelong Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1993. We are celebrating our 25 years of fundraising and friendship for The Smith Family in October 2018.

We are a small club with a focus on building strong and lasting friendships.

We have an active social and fundraising calendar.

Currently our club sponsors three Learning for Life students for The Smith Family.

We are dedicated in making a difference to the lives of our Learning for Life students.

25th Birthday Celebration

Milestone Event: We had a most enjoyable 25th Birthday celebration. 16 visitors helped us celebrate, including National Councillor Maria Culka, Zone Councillor Marg Woodhouse, 5 Geelong Day members and 5 Waverley Day members.

We were entertained by some members from Geelong Harmony Chorus, part of Sweet Adelines International, an a cappella organisation. We sat with perpetual grins on our faces, as their enthusiasm was infectious and the performance highly entertaining. We thank them for their generosity in performing for us, some travelling from Melbourne to do so.

Thanks to the many members who put in extra hours to make this such a memorable evening.

Club News

A big Thank you to our Geelong Evening VIEW Ladies, they have been working very hard to support the local Embroidery Exhibition from 28th July to the 5th August.

Their contribution included but not limited to making and providing morning and afternoon tea as well as entry taking.

All funds raised will go towards The Smith Family.

Keep up to date with what is happening around the clubs.
