Deirdre Meredith (on right) received her 20 year service award from President Ruth Foxwell at a recent meeting of the Templestowe Evening VIEW Club.
Templestowe Evening VIEW Club member, Deirdre Meredith, was presented with her 20 year service award at a recent meeting of the Club.
President Ruth Foxwell said that Deirdre, who is currently Vice President, joined VIEW in August 1996 and has held several positions within the club, organised many outings and guest speakers and was also secretary for several years. VIEW involvement runs in Deirdre’s family because her mother was a club member at Beecroft in Sydney for many years until her death in 2010 aged 98.
The club meets at the Yarra Valley Country Club on the first Wednesday of every month at 6.45 pm for 7.00 pm to enjoy dinner together and hear excellent guest speakers.
