2021 Christmas in July
"On 26th July, the Eden VIEW Club celebrated a Christmas in July luncheon at Oaklands, Pambula. What a fabulous time was had by all! The room and tables had been colourfully decorated with Christmas decorations, there were Bon Bons on the tables and a Christmas Trivia tested the knowledge of everyone. There were wonderful raffle and lucky door prizes too. To top the celebrations off, Santa arrived carrying a bag of chocolate delights for everyone.
Santa proceeded to his "throne" and announced that "he" was charging everyone $2 to sit on his knee. The money that Santa raised, together with the raffle money, will go towards the Club's support of disadvantaged children through the Smith Family.
VIEW members from Bega, Merimbula and Narooma Clubs travelled to Oaklands to join in the festivities and thoroughly enjoyed the day."
"Long time Eden VIEW Club member, Beryl Kelly, sitting on Santa's knee and very willing to pay her $2"
