Korora VIEW Club was formed in 1993.
Currently, the Club sponsors three Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.
There is a Luncheon Meeting the first Tuesday of each month, usually with a guest speaker. A more informal, relaxed social day is held on the third Tuesday of each month. Events held during the year include games days, visits to botanic gardens and local entrepreneurial businesses, fashion parades, fun lunches and much much more.

A Favourite Meal of Members - freshly cooked local Barramundi
Last year was another disruptive year due to a few stops and starts because of COVID scares, but with the usual Korora VIEW Club spirit, and in the words of President Carol, we soldiered on, with fun, laughter and lots of fund raising activities taking place to ensure the ongoing sponsorship for our three Learning for Life students.
General meetings are held at the Coffs Harbour Leagues Club on the 1st Tuesday of each month, always followed by a speaker, a mouth-watering luncheon and the occasional glass of wine.

2021 Guest Speakers
During the year guest speakers were plentiful. At our March meeting we not only celebrated International Women’s Day in style but we also had the pleasure of listening to the very apt speaker Dr. Rosemary Hepworth, a retired surgeon and a Past President of The Pan African Association of Surgeons. Rosemary captivated members with her tales of adventure and danger as a navigator taking part in numerous ‘air races’ over Africa. She had everyone sitting on the edge of their chairs
At other meetings Ingrid Gardner gave an informative talk about the Rymarine course, sponsored by Rotary for teenagers interested in Marine Science; Wendy Hunter visited and brought us up to date with the area activities; Pandora Chippindall, owner of Pandas Paws Healing Hounds enlightened us with the tasks of assistance dogs that help individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence and of course President Carol kept all members amused with her endless supply of jokes.
Members enjoying the friendship of VIEW
The year culminated with a lunch meeting at the Moonee Tavern. Secret Santa was also in attendance and our Program Officer Bronwyn treated everyone to her delicious home-made Christmas cake (a very welcomed yearly tradition).
Korora's first Social outing since March! Fifteen of our members were so pleased to get together for a picnic Morning Tea at the Jetty in Coffs Harbour.
