Shopping at Blue Illusion

Our ladies had an enjoyable morning attending the parade as well as a bit of in store retail therapy & a pleasant lunch afterwards at a nearby café.
Walk With A VIEW
On Wednesday, April 5th, 2019 our club held the 'Walk with VIEW - Lorn to the Leve' event and it was greatly enjoyed by all participants.
The walk took our ladies from the village of Lorn, across The Belmore Bridge to Maitland's 'River Walk' pathway along the Hunter River, then up through Maitland Mall and concluding at the Riverside Building.
Other members from local VIEW Clubs & Maitland Mayor, Loretta Baker participated in the event & joined us for lunch at a local restaurant afterwards.

2CHR Radio Interview Walk
In January this year, Robin Bosch, President and Anne Wheelhouse Publicity Officer & Delegate were interviewed on Cessnock radio station 2CHR and it was a wonderful experience.
The interviewer, Robert Smith was very interested how the VIEW Clubs in our region help support disadvantaged Australian children in their education, through The Smith Family's Learning for Life program.
Robin & Anne spoke on-air for nearly an hour on various aspects of how Maitland VIEW Club & other local VIEW clubs fund raise and support their members through monthly meetings & social events.
This was a wonderful opportunity to promote the VIEW Clubs to any prospective new members that may have been listening to the broadcast.
