Sunnybank VIEW Club was formed in 2001.

Currently, the Club sponsors seven Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

General Notice

Sunnybank View (formerly known as Sunnybank Evening View) now meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Newnham Hotel, 516 Newnham Road, Upper Mt Gravatt, 4122. Meeting times 11 for 11.30 am.

2023 planned events include:

Saturday 18th March at 1.30pm: Rummikub afternoon at Barb’s home 4 Kiera Court Rochedale. RSVP by Thursday 16th March, if you are able to attend. A small plate for afternoon tea will be appreciated.

Tuesday 28th March we are planning an outing to the City for a free concert at the City Hall followed by lunch nearby. Our free concert that day is entitled Pink Martini Shaken Not Stirred’. It will begin at 12noon and as these free concerts are extremely popular we would want to meet in the City Hall foyer no later than 11.30am thus allowing time for a bathroom visit. After the concert at 1pm and on our way to lunch we can also take a look at the Metro bus display opposite the City Hall in Adelaide Street.

Future Events - Save the dates

16th July our annual Trivia afternoon is being held. Further details to be advised. This is always a fun afternoon with a scrumptious afternoon tea and lots of raffles.

Saturday 23rd September: Please hold this date, as we are planning a fashion parade in a private home on that day so please mark it in the diary, on the calendar or add it into your phone. Spread the word it’s going to be very special, more details as the months roll on.

Fun Activities

Members enjoy afternoon games of Rummikub, as well as a delicious afternoon tea.
Barista Sisters always a popular event with attendees visiting new venues - could be classed as a Progressive Morning Tea!
A Show and Tell evening was held when members shared their treasures, crafts and special memorabilia.
