About
Surfers Paradise VIEW Club was formed in 1986.
Currently, the Club sponsors nine Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.
Our monthly lunch meetings include a guest speaker, raffles, a second-hand books and trading table.
Our Club has several interest groups including a book club, a Mahjong group, a Coffee and Chat morning, a craft group and a theatre group. There are also social evenings, dining out with partners and friends at a local restaurant.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about

Book Club
Thursday Group
On the 4th Thursday of every month the Book Club ladies meet at the Southport Golf Club for a lunch and an interesting, and at times, robust conversation about the book we have all read during the month.
As we are a diverse group of women from various backgrounds and age groups there are always surprising comments and different perspectives on the book.
It is wonderful to be a member of such a lateral thinking group. There is always a life lesson to be learnt. The book for March 2022 is You Need To Know by Nicola Moriarty.
