Belgrave VIEW Club
About
Belgrave VIEW Club was formed in 1991.
Our small and friendly VIEW club provides the perfect opportunity to meet regularly with like-minded women, establish new friendships and help children in need.
Our aim is to raise funds for our four Learning for Life students. We sponsor these students through The Smith Family and are immensely proud of the work we do in supporting these children.
We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 12.00 noon at the Monbulk Bowling Club, Moores Road, Monbulk. We have guest speakers attend our meetings to talk on a variety of topics of interest to the group. We also enjoy monthly outings together. These include breakfasts, lunches, garden visits and trips to the theatre.
We are a friendly group of women who always welcome new members. Please get in touch today and come along to one of our meetings. We look forward to meeting you.

Leny celebrates being 100 Years young in December 2022
We celebrated the 100th birthday of our still active member, Leny. It was such a privilege to be part of the celebration!
October 2022 Outing
Some of our members and guests visited Ambulance Victoria Museum in Bayswater. We were amazed at how far the ambulance service has progressed from it’s humble beginnings more than a 100 years ago. We also learned of some recent changes and additions to the service. Another piece of Victorian history!
Gardening Delights In June 2022
Members welcomed Phillip Johnson to our June meeting. Phillip is the landscape designer, who along with Wes Fleming and the Trailfinders won Best of Show at the 2013 Chelsea Flower Show. This was, and is the only Australian entry ever to win at the Royal Horticulture Society Chelsea Flower Show.
Phillip is now replicating many elements of this award winning garden, at the Dandenong Ranges Botanical Gardens. We were so appreciative of him taking time away from his largest project yet.
May 2022 Outing
As can be seen below, some of our ladies enjoyed a walk through Tindal Gardens in May.

Embracing Equity in 2023
Three suffragettes greeted members of VA01 zone as they arrived for Heidelberg VIEW Club’s IWD celebration. Suzanne, Roz and Jenny proudly channelled the suffragettes of the past who fought for women’s right to vote. Members arrived wearing the colours of purple, teal and white; suffragist colours and also, fittingly, our VIEW colours. Like the suffragettes of old, VIEW women raise their voices for change for the common good.
