2022 Christmas Celebrations
It was lovely to hold our Christmas lunch on 7th December at Mornington Golf Club. We had many new members amongst us and all members brought along a Kris Kringle gift to the value of $10.00 for Father Christmas to distribute.
Thanks must go again to Bob for being such a wonderful Father Christmas. Mornington Golf Club provided us with a traditional Christmas lunch and the room looked lovely. A good time was had by all, everybody was in good spirits and we look forward to 2023.

2022 Christmas Wrapping at Bunnings
Members participated in the Christmas Night Market held at our local Bunnings store on 8th December. Our participation was gift wrapping. We worked in the foyer of the store standing in front of the beautiful Christmas tree.
There were a lot of stall holders made up of local community groups with many families attending. There was the usual Bunnings sausage sizzle, after all, it wouldn’t be Bunnings without a sausage sizzle. The market was a lot of fun and was something different to be involved in.

2022 June
Our 28th birthday celebration was a lot of fun as we joined in the Make a Spectacle of Yourself competition in order to celebrate the Centenary of The Smith Family.
We were entertained by singer Mandy van Zanen who invited us to sing along with her. Mandy is a wonderful singer and it was a lot of fun to join in the singing. There was also a Secret Spectacle Snooper who selected the three spectacles that will be entered in The Smith Family’s competition.
A raffle was held with three hampers full of lovely nibbles and wine as the prizes. A good time was had by all who attended and now we look forward to July as we are holding a Box Auction which is a lot of fun.

Embracing Equity in 2023
Three suffragettes greeted members of VA01 zone as they arrived for Heidelberg VIEW Club’s IWD celebration. Suzanne, Roz and Jenny proudly channelled the suffragettes of the past who fought for women’s right to vote. Members arrived wearing the colours of purple, teal and white; suffragist colours and also, fittingly, our VIEW colours. Like the suffragettes of old, VIEW women raise their voices for change for the common good.
