Warrnambool Day VIEW Club
About
The Warrnambool Day VIEW Club began in 1995 with 31 members.
Today we have 65 members. Our membership includes two original members and many with over ten and twenty years of service, which says a lot for the friendship and support within the club.
We now support and encourage six students in the Learning for Life program, two of whom are at tertiary level.

Centenary Celebration In Lockdown
Moira is 100 Years Young
Despite being in lockdown during September, members managed to raise $1,600 from a major raffle, and are now selling Recipe books which contain member's favourite recipes, for $15 each, for our October fundraiser. We also have our Gala Raffle tickets to sell.
Then on 25th September Moira, one of our original members turned 100 years young. A number of members and friends managed to gathering, while social distancing, to help her celebrate this momentous occasion.

2020 August Planning
Our first Zoom meeting was held recently, thanks to our Secretary Dale and President Pam.
Zoom is a great way of keeping alive some contact with our committee .
We are planing to meet for our monthly meetings this way while we are under stage three restrictions.

2019 Area VA Bunnings May VIEW Promotions
May 2019 Stephanie, on behalf of Thomastown Bunnings presented Sandi Muntisov, National Councillor Area VA, with 20 yellow pots of yellow and orange violas as well as a $50 Bunnings voucher.

Eighteen members from three VA01 VIEW Clubs, Heidelberg, Banyule and Plenty Valley headed off together to the magnificent Mallee-Wimmera area of Victoria. The main focus of the trip was to view the amazing silo art that has been created over the past three or so years

2019 International Women's Day Kooyong
On 7th March 143 VIEW members and guests attended the Kooyong Tennis Centre to celebrate International Women's Day and hear how we can ≠Balance for Better. Some of the guests had travelled from Wodonga and Bendigo. National Vice President Annette Schlafrig delivered the Executive address.

VIEW National Convention 2022
We are pleased to announce the 55th VIEW National Convention will be held in Adelaide, SA from 9th to 11th September 2022.
Hawaiian Night
Everyone got into the spirit of the night with leis, grass skirts, coconuts, cocktails, mu mus, pineapples, flowers in the hair and hula dancing to the strains of the ukulele.
Scrabble Group
Our Warrnambool VIEW Scrabble Group Meeting held at Judy’s home.
We hold these meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at different members home.
